Agreement with the National Italian American Foundation
On Monday, March 10, at 11:30 AM, at Palazzo Firenze, the President of the Società Dante Alighieri, Andrea Riccardi, and the President of NIAF (National Italian American Foundation), Robert Allegrini, will sign an agreement for joint actions by the two institutions on teaching the Italian language and promoting Italian culture in the United States.

PLIDA
Certify your Italian skills
Società Dante Alighieri certifies proficiency in the Italian language at all levels of the Common European Framework of Reference, from A1 to C2, by way of the Dante Alighieri Italian Language Project (PLIDA). It is a founding member of the CLIQ association (Quality Italian Language Certification) and an associate member of the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe). PLIDA certificates make it possible to apply for Italian citizenship and long-term EU residence permits, as well as offering access to university and study visas.
